Q: What are ChronoPay's fees?

A: As with most payment processors, ChronoPay's fees vary according to the industry you operate in. Our fees start at approximately 2.00% and 0.30 Euro per transaction. Please fill in our online application form to receive a quote based on your type of business.

Q: Are your fees negotiable?

A: Volume discounts and discounts for recognized brands and web-brands are, of course available and are open for negotiation.

Q: Does ChronoPay hold a reserve from each transaction?

A: That depends on which of ChronoPay's services you are using. We do not hold a reserve if you have your own dedicated Internet Merchant Account (IMA). However, your acquiring bank may require a reserve. That is to be determined when you apply and acquire your IMA. The reserve is usually around 5%.

However, if you are using ChronoPay's IPSP solution, in which you do NOT have your own Internet Merchant Account, we may require a reserve. The reserve can be between 5% - 10%.

The reserve is held each week and starts being repaid after 6 months.

Q: Do your fees include all costs? Or will the acquiring bank charge additional fees?

A: ChronoPay's quote includes all fees. There will be no additional bank charges.
