Set up payment methods
 ChronoPay offers a variety of payment methods. In addition to credit card and debit card payments, we also can offer local payment methods. Credit card/ debit card payments If you wish to accept online credit card and debit card payments on your website you must set up a merchant account with an acquiring bank. A merchant account is an agreement with a bank that allows you to accept payment by credit and debit card. This is a separate account from your business bank account and because not all banks are acquiring banks, you can have an Internet merchant account (IMA) at a different bank from the one where your business bank account is located. With ChronoPay you can either choose to apply for your own merchant account with one of our acquiring bank partners or make use of our IPSP solution. Applying is easy; we will take care of the entire application process with one of our acquiring bank partners. Local payment methods ChronoPay offers a variety of local payments methods, such as ELV in Germany and iDeal in The Netherlands.
