ChronoPay Closes out 2006 With Solid and Sustained Growth

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS - ChronoPay, one of the leading European Internet Payment Service Providers, is reporting solid successes in all major areas of its business for 2006.

The company experienced an impressive 57% increase in processing revenues over 2005, as well as marked improvements in all areas of service and support. Additionally, the company completed many new partnerships, which have added value in a variety of ways to its processing products and services. One such partnership is with ScanAlert. This alliance allows ChronoPay merchants to obtain PCI compliance and the security credibility that goes with it.

As a further sign of its solid growth in 2006, ChronoPay's client base increased significantly, while the company attracted a number of high profile clients. One of the clients ChronoPay secured in 2006 was the well known charity organization World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The WWF is using ChronoPay's payment platform for one of their projects.

2006 was also an excellent year for ChronoPay in the area of security. The company was able to consistently update its systems and networks, maintaining the highest security standards required in the industry. In addition to being PCI compliant, ChronoPay also received HackerSafe certification, enabling its clients to display, at no additional cost, the HackerSafe logo on their payment pages.

ChronoPay also expanded its products and services portfolio. One of its major projects included the launch of a new Reseller back office system. With this utility, Resellers are able to track new merchant applications, as well as monitor the activity of its existing merchants. Additionally, ChronoPay added new payment methods, including the Dutch payment method, iDEAL.

In 2006, continued development of ChronoPay's anti fraud solutions was a high priority. The company's state-of-the-art fraud screening technologies were continuously upgraded and improved throughout the year, with many new features added to further protect its merchants and their customers from being victimized by Online fraud.

ChronoPay's commitment to the development of a safe and secure Online processing environment was in full force in 2006 as it partnered with various organizations, which share this mission. One such relationship was established with the Merchant Risk Council, an organization which fosters a secure environment for merchants and educates them on fraud prevention. Additionally, ChronoPay formed a strategic partnership with Trusted Shops, a European organization, which reassures consumers regarding the safety of Online purchases, by providing a Seal of Approval for Online retailers. The joint objective of these relationships is the promotion of safe online shopping.

Another area of impressive growth for ChronoPay in 2006 was in shopping cart software integrations. As a result of the large volume of new merchant applications and the related increase in demand for various shopping cart technologies, ChronoPay added forty new e-commerce cart alternatives to its catalog of offerings. Just a few of these integrations included ShopFactory, Zen Cart, X-Cart, LiteCommerce and VirtueMart.

In addition, the highly popular open source shopping cart solution, osCommerce welcomed ChronoPay as a corporate sponsor in 2006. ChronoPay intends to continue its support of open source initiatives such as osCommerce, Zen Cart and VirtueMart in 2007.

These significant developments have contributed to ChronoPay's overall success in 2006. As the company continues to gain acceptance in the global market as a premiere provider of Online processing products and services, it looks forward to a banner year in 2007.
