If you open a Merchant Account with ChronoPay you will be able to choose between two types of connections, which your customers will use to type in their personal information and their credit card details.
Those two options are:
ChronoPay's payment page
With this method, the customer is sent from the merchant's online shop to ChronoPay's payment page residing on our server. The customer fills in their payment details and is then redirected back to the merchant's website. You do not have to buy an SSL certificate. The payment page is HackerSafe certified. Direct connection to our gateway
The customer fills in their payment details on the merchant's website with the credit card details being stored on the merchant's server. In this case you are required to have an SSL certificate for your payment page. The SSL certificate insures that the credit card details are submitted within a secure environment. Your website will also need to be PCI complaint to be able to use this connection. Please contact us at sales@chronopay.com and we will be able to help you get PCI compliant.
